Spider Riders
An animated series based on the series of science fiction novels authored by Tedd Anasti, Patsy Cameron-Anasti, and Stephen D. Sullivan. A kid named Hunter Steele follows his grandpa's journal into a mysterious cave and falls down to the center of the earth, called the inner world. He discovers the subterranean world known as Arachnia and meets a small band of elite warriors, the "Spider Riders," so named because they each pilot their own three-ton, ten-foot battle spiders. Hunter joins them in their fight to save Arachnia from the giant mutant insects called Invectids.
After finding a sacred talisman called a Manacle, Hunter Steele enters the Inner World through a portal deep within a pyramid. Here he meets Corona, a Spider Rider, and Shadow, a battle spider destined to be Hunter's partner.
